God took you to his Kingdom

not very long ago,

He gave us time to tell you,

how much we loved you so.

He stopped your pain and suffering,

and gave you peace at last.

He gave us joy and happiness,

the special way he let you pass,

but as we are only human,

our hearts are filled with pain.

We wonder if our lives

will be the same again.

So we will pray to God above,

to help us through each day,

and ask him for the hope and strength,

To live life in a joyful way.

We will always have you in our hearts,

you’ll inspire us with your love,

and one day we’ll be re-united,

with you and God above.
